Fishkin\u0026rsquo;s and Leiderman\u0026rsquo;s nomadic structure also doubles as a tiny exhibition venue, reviving the memory of \u0026ldquo;apartment curating\u0026rdquo; and \u0026ldquo;apartment art\u0026rdquo; as one of the most energetic and compelling forms of samizdat art production in the former Soviet Union. \u003cem\u003eHotelit\u003c/em\u003e\u0026nbsp;was in fact first exhibited and used to this effect in Fort Asperen near Utrecht; for much of 2005, it was parked outside the Extra City exhibition space in the old harbor of Antwerp, where it also operated as a hotel room.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n"},{"locale":"nl","short_description":"","description":"\u003cp\u003eIn 2001 sloeg het Russisch-Oekra\u0026iuml;ense kunstenaarsduo Vadim Fishkin en Yuri Leiderman de handen in elkaar voor de creatie van \u003cem\u003eHotelit\u003c/em\u003e: een heuse hotelkamer, ondergebracht in een structuur die van buitenaf gezien meer weg heeft van een reuzengrote maquette van een hotelgebouw van vijf verdiepingen.
