De Vree used the phrase \u0026lsquo;in the shape of\u0026rsquo; to highlight their figurative character. A stylised female torso is outlined in \u003cem\u003eEeroo-tic\u003c/em\u003e: the words \u0026lsquo;eerootic\u0026rsquo; and \u0026lsquo;tic\u0026rsquo; serve to suggest erogenous zones, including the mouth, breasts, navel and mons Veneris. These zones are represented both visually-graphically and semantically with the word \u0026lsquo;tic\u0026rsquo;. Eroticism is a recurrent theme in De Vree\u0026rsquo;s oeuvre. This subjective thematization is less present in the concrete-visual poetry, but recurs in the poesia visiva, in which De Vree denounces the brutal exploitation of sexuality in the mass media. In de concreet-visuele po\u0026euml;zie kwam deze subjectieve thematisering minder aan bod, maar in de poesia visiva komt deze terug wanneer De Vree de brutale sexualiteit in de massamedia aanklaagt.
