After being obliged to make a major changes in the original project, the work was done totally internally using all five floors and the roof. Ik wil het bestaande kader van ons denken en waarnemen hergebruiken.\"* (Gordon Matta-Clark, 1977)\r\n\r\nIn 1977 transformeerde Matta-Clark in Antwerpen een kantoorgebouw tot *Office Baroque*. In een eerste ontwerp wil hij uitsluitend de gevel bewerken: een boogvormige uitsnijding van de benedenhoek tot bovenaan de gevel. Dit zou het gebouw doorzichtig maken en de voorbijgangers zouden er dwars doorheen kunnen kijken. Het stadsbestuur gaf echter geen toestemming. Daarom maakte hij een tweede ontwerp dat zich beperkte tot de binnenruimte van het gebouw. Twee elkaar overlappende cirkels vormden doorheen alle verdiepingen een bizar patroon van doorkijkjes en ruimtelijke figuren.
