The urgency is to be found, not only at the level of the content, but also in a practice \u0026ndash; the dialogic \u0026ndash; which is symmetrical in its nature.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eAt first sight, Athens and Antwerp are extremes in today\u0026rsquo;s Europe. In any case, both cities have each in their own way contributed to Europe\u0026rsquo;s cultural fabric. The major lines of our social organisation stem from Athens, as well our idea of art. As for Antwerp, it is one of the key cities of the early modern era, a centre of research and thought, the city where Utopia was written and the first art market was created.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eUrgent Conversations: Antwerp \u0026ndash; Athens\u003c/em\u003e is built from the bottom up. A work of an artist from Belgium and a Greek artist\u0026#39;s work are linked. Starting from here, a subject arises. This theme will be further tested and enriched by adding a third work, creating thematic clusters \u0026ndash; each time featuring three artists. In elk geval hebben beide steden elk op hun eigen manier bijgedragen aan het culturele weefsel van Europa. Uit Athene komen zowel de grote lijnen van onze maatschappelijke organisatie als onze idee van kunst. Antwerpen is dan weer een van de cruciale steden van de vroege moderne tijd, van onderzoek en denken, de stad waar Utopia werd geschreven en de eerste kunstmarkt ontstond.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eDringende Gesprekken: Antwerpen \u0026ndash; Athene \u003c/em\u003eis van onderuit opgebouwd. Een werk van een kunstenaar van hier en een werk van een Griekse kunstenaar worden aan elkaar gekoppeld. Daaruit komt een onderwerp voort. Dit thema wordt verder uitgetest en verrijkt door er een derde werk aan toe te voegen. Zo ontstaan thematische clusters met telkens drie kunstenaars. Ein Werk eines belgischen K\u0026uuml;nstlers und ein Werk eines griechischen K\u0026uuml;nstlers werden miteinander verkn\u0026uuml;pft. Diese sind durch eine Idee miteinander verbunden.
