The urgency is to be found, not only at the level of the content, but also in a practice \u0026ndash; the dialogic \u0026ndash; which is symmetrical in its nature.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eAt first sight, Athens and Antwerp are extremes in today\u0026rsquo;s Europe. In any case, both cities have each in their own way contributed to Europe\u0026rsquo;s cultural fabric. The major lines of our social organisation stem from Athens, as well our idea of art. As for Antwerp, it is one of the key cities of the early modern era, a centre of research and thought, the city where Utopia was written and the first art market was created.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eUrgent Conversations: Antwerp \u0026ndash; Athens\u003c/em\u003e is built from the bottom up. A work of an artist from Belgium and a Greek artist\u0026#39;s work are linked. Starting from here, a subject arises. Een werk van een Belgische kunstenaar en een werk van een Griekse kunstenaar worden aan elkaar gekoppeld. Daaraan wordt dan een idee verbonden. Tenslotte wordt dit thema op de proef gesteld en verrijkt door een derde kunstenaar van elders uit een van de twee collecties.
