Her latest animated film\u003cem\u003e, L.A.T\u003c/em\u003e., was finalised two years after her death by her partner Rudi Renson.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eEngaging with themes such as feminism, activism, social security, pensions and children\u0026#39;s rights, van Goethems\u0026#39; work is socially critical and humorous. Yet even twenty years after her death, her artistic practice remains largely unknown to the general public.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe exhibition presents a selection from the donation of Sonia Renson.\u0026nbsp;It is her wish to find a permanent destination for the archive that she has inherited through her brother Rudi Renson, van Goethem\u0026#39;s partner. The donation includes approximately three hundred framed drawings, designs, original drawings on cellophane, personal items, publications, clippings, visual footage (films and videos) and cartoons.
