Agirregoikoa may be considered as a kind of jester who challenges the viewer to continuously question himself and the world around him.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor his new exhibition in the M HKA, Juan Perez Agirregoikoa projects short films, which he produced in cooperation with a Basque choir. At Juan Pérez Agirregoikoa’s request, the choir sang four popular Spanish and Basque numbers, whereby the artist replaced the text by quotations from contemporary French philosophers. Op vraag van Juan Pérez Agirregoikoa zingt het koor vier populaire Spaanse en Baskische nummers waarvan de teksten door de kunstenaar zijn vervangen door citaten van hedendaagse Franse filosofen.
