The initiative was hailed\u0026nbsp;with a bowl of dry cat food by\u0026nbsp;the national police!\u003cbr /\u003e\r\n\u003cbr /\u003e\r\nUnderstandably,\u0026nbsp;the cat has also infiltrated the field of art. Not only as a subject (for centuries painters have been depicting them) or as a painter\u0026nbsp;itself (the book\u0026nbsp;\u003cem\u003eWhy Cats Paint: A Theory of Feline\u0026nbsp;Aesthetics\u003c/em\u003e\u0026nbsp;addresses this question), but also as a fashion, or even as a\u0026nbsp;movement.\u0026nbsp;White Columns in New York scheduled a cat show in 2013 and Los\u0026nbsp;Angeles followed suit with a crazier \u0026quot;West Coast\u0026quot; approach, while\u0026nbsp;the\u0026nbsp;Walker Art Center has an Internet Cat Videos festival. Her work seems to be driven by her urge to imbue these groupings of impersonal materials with individual identities.\u0026nbsp;\u003cstrong\u003ePoesivski Poeselovski\u003c/strong\u003e is a \u0026lsquo;super cat\u0026rsquo; born in Siberia in the 16th century who is widely known for his superior qualities as a poet, wine taster and philosopher. His followers and close friends will meticulously execute his plans to make an object for a \u0026lsquo;nano cat\u0026rsquo;. Finally, the ceramic sculptures of \u003cstrong\u003eEric Croes\u003c/strong\u003e (b. 1978, lives and works in Brussels) reminds us simultaneously of outsider art and refined decorative sculptures. Een initiatief dat de Federale Politie begroette met een bakje kattenbrokjes!\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eHet is dan ook logisch dat de poes ge\u0026iuml;nfiltreerd is in het domein van de kunst. Niet alleen als onderwerp (al eeuwenlang beelden schilders ze af) of schilder (het boek \u003cem\u003eWhy\u003c/em\u003e \u003cem\u003eCats Paint: A Theory of Feline Aesthetics\u003c/em\u003e draait rond die vraag) maar ook als een mode, een beweging zelfs. Het New Yorkse White Columns programmeerde in 2013 een kattententoonstelling. Zijn volgelingen en naaste vrienden zullen zijn plannen nauwkeurig uitvoeren om een object voor een \u0026lsquo;nanokat\u0026rsquo; te maken. De keramieksculpturen van \u003cstrong\u003eEric Croes\u003c/strong\u003e (\u0026deg;1978, woont en werkt in Brussel) doen tegelijkertijd denken aan outsider kunst en verfijnde decoratieve sculpturen.
