Eranosian explores the boundaries of each medium, and is able to blend them seamlessly.\u0026nbsp; Through this process he develops his own figurative design language.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"margin-left:-.25pt;\"\u003eHe invariably finds his subjects in the commonplace. A wall, the sea, a tree or a church tower: he photographs our familiar surroundings using highly stylized techniques in a manner that is virtually unrecognisable. The photographic image transcends the banality of his own everyday context.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"margin-left:-.25pt;\"\u003eEranosian takes the white space surrounding the photograph and uses it to create a new reality. He applies the gouache with such meticulous care that it becomes almost impossible for the observer to distinguish the painting from the photograph. Which is the original, and which is the new contribution? The sense of disconcertion that arises is what typifies this young artist\u0026#39;s abstract work.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"margin-left:-.25pt;\"\u003eIt is a balancing act in which the artist experiences and interprets photography and painting in a non-conventional way. His objective is not to show something to the observer. Rather by using his unique language, in which the photographed subject is not immediately legible, he principally seeks to elicit feeling from within the observer.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"margin-left:-.25pt;\"\u003eWhile Eranosian was exploring his own, new language, he was being followed by photographer and documentary filmmaker, Jimmy Kets. Het is een heuse kruisbestuiving tussen twee verschillende werelden. Eranosian onderzoekt de grenzen van beide media en laat die\u0026nbsp;naadloos op elkaar aansluiten. Zo ontwikkelt hij een eigen figuratieve vormtaal.\u003cbr /\u003e\r\n\u003cbr /\u003e\r\nZijn onderwerpen vindt hij steeds op straat. Een muur, de zee, een boom of een kerktoren: hij fotografeert onze vertrouwde omgeving op een heel grafische en haast onherkenbare manier. Het fotografisch beeld overstijgt de banaliteit van zijn eigen alledaagse context.\u003cbr /\u003e\r\n\u003cbr /\u003e\r\nIn de witruimte rondom de foto schept Eranosian een nieuwe realiteit. Hij brengt de gouache zo precies aan dat het voor de toeschouwer haast onmogelijk is om foto van schilderij te onderscheiden. Wat is echt, wat is toegevoegd? De verwarring die ontstaat, typeert het abstracte werk van deze jonge kunstenaar.\u003cbr /\u003e\r\n\u003cbr /\u003e\r\nHet is een evenwichtsoefening waarbij de kunstenaar fotografie en schilderkunst op een niet-traditionele manier ervaart en interpreteert.
