INBOX is a place that both inspires and surprises, and grants us a glimpse into the universe of passionate thinkers and doers. With INBOX, M HKA creates a physical space in which the museum addresses often-reccuring questions. In between the various events, we show a selection of our collection work, paying particular attention to video art.\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKunstbende\u003c/strong\u003e, \u003cem\u003ethe\u003c/em\u003e competition for artistic talent aged 13 to 19 years, celebrated its 16th anniversary in 2015. In May, the Kortrijk theatre was taken over by young talent from all over the country. The best were assessed in different categories. Aron Wouters clinched the top prize in the category of Visual National: exhibition space at INBOX for two weeks.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAron Wouters\u003c/strong\u003e\u0026nbsp;is experimenting in a wide range of media. Starting from photos from his childhood, pictures of which he did not decide on the framing or content, he takes the viewer into an abstract quest. Wouters selects lines, colours and images from the casual, realistic renderings and gradually obtains a more minimalist version of the previous one. In this process, he creates stylized illustrations that can either be seen in isolation or come together in a book version. Aron Wouters kaapte de hoofdprijs in de categorie Beeldend Nationaal weg: twee weken lang expositieruimte in\u0026nbsp;\u003cstrong\u003eINBOX\u003c/strong\u003e.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAron Wouters\u003c/strong\u003e\u0026nbsp;experimenteert in een breed scala aan media. Vertrekkend vanuit foto\u0026rsquo;s uit zijn kinderjaren, foto\u0026rsquo;s waarvan hij niet zelf de kadrering of inhoud bepaalde, neemt hij de toeschouwer mee in een abstraherende zoektocht. Wouters selecteert lijnen, kleuren en beelden uit de toevallige, realistische weergaven en bekomt zo stap voor stap een meer minimalistische versie van de vorige. In dit proces produceert hij gestileerde illustraties die zowel los kunnen staan als samen komen in een boekversie. Wouters s\u0026eacute;lectionne des lignes, des couleurs et des images issues de reproductions arbitraires r\u0026eacute;alistes et obtient ainsi, \u0026eacute;tape par \u0026eacute;tape, une version plus minimaliste que la pr\u0026eacute;c\u0026eacute;dente.
