He holds a BA in Sculpture and an MFA in Visual Culture from Edinburgh College of Art, plus an MA in Combined Media from Chelsea College of Art, London. He has been selected for both New Work UK (1999) and New Work Scotland (2010) and from 2008 to 2009 was a Director of the Embassy gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is currently a PhD candidate at Concordia University in Montr\u0026eacute;al, Qu\u0026eacute;bec where he investigates neomedievalism with a particular focus on non-human ritual. In 2013 he was awarded a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship.
