Zero will also serve as the collective name when these two artists exhibit together with Günther Uecker.  In the Hessenhuis he shows Dynamische Strukturen with gliding vertical or horizontal white or black strips, and Lichtreliefs [light-reliefs] of highly reflective, rhythmical cuts of aluminum.  The incidence of light along with the viewer’s own movements evoke the desired vibration effect.  In Mack’s oeuvre the Lichtreliefs mark the transition to works that present themselves as objects.
